Week 2 Day 3
I did the video this morning. Did only 8 push-ups and 12 bench triceps presses. My favorite part is the stretches at the end. Like Josie, I am getting a bit more flexible. So I've completed two weeks of the three-week challenge. I think next week I will increase my weights. Maybe I'll buy some 3-pound weights, because the next size I have is 5-pounds and I'm not sure I'm ready for that. We'll see.

HUrray for finishing week 2! Go with the 3 lbs not 5 lbs weights.
Great job. You know, I don't even have weights. I just use two cans of spaghetti sauce because that's all I have. They aren't quite two pounds and I know I could do heavier I just haven't bought any weights. I'm thinking about making my own somehow. Like sewing a bag full of rocks or something.
Canned goods work great for weights, until, as you say, you need something heavier. I wouldn't recommend making your own, as swinging something around, like a bag of rocks, could be dangerous. You can pick up a pair of inexpensive weights at Walmart or Fred Meyer and be good to go. Let us know what you decide, and good luck!
