Week 2 Day 2

I did it! It took me till this afternoon to get around to doing it, but I've done the video twice now so far this week. When it got to the chair triceps press (which I don't like!), I skipped it and rested and then went for the push-ups, doing all 16 of them!!! Then, after doing the triceps with the weights, I felt stronger like I could do those chair presses after all. So at the end of the video, while the music was playing, I did 16 chair triceps presses.

This is so good for me to have you girls encouraging and doing it with me. "When I'm discouraged and think I cannot try,"... I think of how you girls are doing it, too, with your little ones underfoot, and I just know that "I will go, I will do!"

Great job Mom! Do you do the whole entire video every time? If you do, that is amazing. I can only do 1 strength training circuit per day. And as for the push-ups, you are amazing. Today is the first day in my almost 3 weeks of doing the video that I made it to all 16 of the push-ups.

Yes, Josie, I generally do the whole video. But I pace myself. For example, I rarely jump when they say to, and sometimes I don't use my arms. In other words, I don't put as much umph into it as I know you do. For the weights I use 2 pound weights, which are not particularly heavy, but by the end I feel like they're a good workout. However, next week I may bump it up to 5 pound weights. If not next week, then maybe for the next three-week circuit. Speaking of which, are going to lead us in another three weeks? I mean, when you're done with your three, I'll still have one more week, and Talena will still have two more weeks to go, and I don't know if we can do it without you, so I hope you've got a plan in mind to help us all keep going!
