Still Going Strong and Feeling Great!!!

I'm on week two of my challenge and I've done my aerobics video 2 times this week. Mon. and today. Yesterday my neck and back were a little sore so I just did some gentle yoga and stretching. I"m excited because I feel good and I've lost 2 pounds! I'm also trying to eat healthy and snack on nuts and fruits and veggies instead of granola bars and bean brownies.
The hardest thing for me is finding the right time to do the workout. My schedule changes so much by the day that I end up squeezing my workout in whenever I can and that doesn't always go well with the kids. Any ideas for how to entertain them for 40 min. while I clock in my time?

Woohoo, Josie! You Rock! It looks like we both posted about the same time!
I think that's awesome that you are squeezing in your workout when you can. That takes a lot of courage and commitment. Reminds me of the article I read in the Ensign years ago by the lady who was trying to figure out when she could study her scriptures each day. She, too, had young children who needed her at odd times of the day and night. It amounted to her bringing her scriptures with her wherever she went, and leaving them spread out on the kitchen table when she was cooking dinner, and just doing whatever she could to squeeze it in. She thought she wasn't doing so well until her friend was visiting her house and commented that it seemed like she was always studying her scriptures.
Anyway, my suggestion is to just keep doing it, and your kids will get used to the idea that it's okay for you to spend time taking care of you, too!

One sugggestion for the kids is to find some way to incorporate them into the exercising. You can start actively teaching them about good health. Give them an opportunity to participate or do their own workout routine. You can use jump ropes, small trampolines, jumping jacks etc. And you can make it fun with music.

Of course, if you have to instruct them in those things you probably won't be able to do your video but you could do the stuff along with them and it could be your workout for the day.
